mixed result on the Pepermint but the Copperband will be very happy! The only question is what to do with it once you dont have anymore aiptasia. Since we are on a reef site I can safely assume you will put corals in it. The CB likes corals too, unfortunately.....

yeh mine come out when the light goes off or when anything new comes into tank.

wen i put my hand in to clean they come and climb up me finger,(kinda freaky) cause they dp that pecking thing with there litlle legd or watever they are. and my clown wont stop nipping at me so i can never keep my ahnd in that tank with out having something get me

but on onother note. i both my tanks i havehad aiptasia put one pep shrimp in each. on tanks i see the shrimp and he comes out and i aint got no aiptasia
other tank ibve still got some and i never see the pep shrimp. and me tanks to small for a CB.

joes juice and a combo of pep shrimp will probbley work, assuming your pep shrim eats up.

well, you could always leave the aiptasias alone.

Unless they become a dirrect threat or attacker in your tank, they really are not harmful. I have had a nice compliment in my reef tanks and once the aiptasias are "happy" where they are, they rarely become a problem. I did have a massive outbreak ONCE in a tank, but the pepermint shrimps took care of it very quickly.

I did have to remove the shrimp once the job was done, because they started hammering on my GSP and a few zoos after they wiped out the anemones.

If you want to "control" the aiptasia, try direct blast of a kalkwasser paste and a pippette right on top of them. it usualy melts them away with little fluctuation to your water chemestry
