I will be getting a blasto tomorrow and I was wondering about placement. I was planning on letting it grow and to be the centerpice in the middle of my rockwork- but with that blasted anenome there I don't want it to get stung! Would placing it on the sand for now work alright? It really is only a differance of about 6". Thanks!

Reefer,

I have some blasto for house that were in the middle of a 20h with a total of 130w pc and were doing great. I just switched over to MH and had to move them down to the bottom and are doing much better now.

Well, I guess I will keep it one the bottom of the tank then... I was looking at Dennis' new nano-reef though (on nano-reef.com) and he had multiple colonies of Blatos under 70w MH in a 15g (and if you know his tanks then you know how great they turn out). So I guess my zoos can take the place higher up in my tank, since they seem to tolerate high and lower light levels alright. Thanks for the help!
