cloudy tank

i just got home and i noticed my tank was abit cloudy.what the hell.what can this be caused from.i havent checked my parameters but i will right now.i do not run any other reactors other than phosban and no sprays or anything like that was used in the room my tank is in.any ideas

Based on the information provided, I'd guess it's particulate matter.

i never over feed my tank and ive had no algae problems.i use a filter sock and a uv sterilizer.i run my t-5 lights 10 hrs a day.nothing has died in my tank.where else could the particulate matter be coming from.just checked my nitrates and they are on point.i cant check my phosphtes at this time i ran out.should i get some chemi pure.i dont like to add anything to my tank but this may be an exception.if i do use it where in the tank should i put it.i was thinking the filter sock.

i did notice my skimmer is producing an extreme amount of skimmate.
