24 Gal Nano Tank

Im looking to turn my 24 gal into a nice reef tank. As of now, all I have is the tank, an orbit extreme pc, and an eheim classic canister i am probably going to chuck. I was thinking that if i get a decent skimmer, like a remora and about 40 lbs of LR and 30 of LS I can completely run the tank on this as my filtration. I want to keep zoas, softies and lps. I will probably have few fish if any at all. My only concern is not having a sump. Is it possible to hook up a phosban reactor without a sump? Is there anyway I can effectively use the canister?

All this on a 24g?The Remora should be fine and do the water changes.Water changes and RO/DI should be fine instead of adding a phosban reactor.

how should i "install" the phosban reactor? With no sump it will have to be some kind of HOB.

PB reactores are a HOB unit. Very easy to install on a nano/ap

one more questions how many lbs of sand do i need to get a deep sand bed, about 5 inches or so

I would say about 30-40 lbs. of sand
