iPhone and MR

anybody view MR with their iPhone? If so, do you experience any screen blackout from time to time? i am guessing that its low in memory ... what can we do to make MR iPhone friendly?

I think 3G is over-rated!!! I live in the Bensonhurst/Midwood area ... and from time to time, I would only have Edge service.

And while 3g may be overated, edge just sucks.

It does blackout from time to time but i think its because of third-party apps. Even since I got apps, safari hasn't been working as well.

I check it from my Iphone all the time. It only blacks out because of the loading that the forum actually uses. Ie. the recent threads, picture, etc. (All the middle stuff) overloads the Iphone.

no problem with my g1 as long as there is 3g available if it goes to edge I dont bother

it drops on me even with the 3g sometimes. but thats from overloading the phone with all the pics and stuf. just my 2 cents.

safari on my iphone also crashes after awhile of loading MR - i think its due to the overload of images or data. strange since it loads facebook well.

We do have progress on the subject of a mobile MR site just please reflect it in the survey when you get it. I just got a Blackberry and it interests me as well to be able to hit MR on a mobile site because picture heavy websites slow it down.

Also it's not as easy as it sounds LOL the site has to be reworked and stripped down to next to nothing which takes lots of work. I have been researching it for a little while now and not being an html programmer it seems complicated to me web design guys will probably be able to prove me wrong with a snap of their fingers though.

It's actually pretty easy for the main site. You just need a script in the index.hmtl to check for that browser then redirect from there.

The main site is easy to rework, but the forums... I know vBulletin has mobile mods, i dont know if this board does. Otherwise, good luck sir

I have gone to MR on my bbry 8830, and I hate it b/c it is columnar and so hard to navigate - very slow. also, i can't chat, which makes me crazy. The pics make it very slow.

I have a problem loading pages on the iPhone as well as logging in problems. I get redirected to the login page again. This only happens on the 3g network not when I am connected via wifi.

I use a BB storm... work well. No problems. A text only\Phone site would be better and faster!

I have a WM6.1 phone. Site is a little heavy on the graphics, but it works. The menus can be a pain and the formatting isn't mobile friendly tho...

A PDA version would be great!

Does this site have RSS?

I have issues with MR and my blackberry. i have the bold and it has 3G. I always have issues with MR and my blackberry, I can never figure out why. I can surf every other site pretty quickly.
