Whats your New Year's Resolution???

So with a brand new year ahead of us, comes brand new resolution(s) ... so whats yours for your marine/reef tank(s)? Let us hear them ...


I'll start first:
1) do a min. of 1 weekly water parameter check
2) save $$$ for a new skimmer
3) make it to the next frag-swap with $$$$


(Lets hope that this thread gets archieved so we can date back in 1/2010 and see how much we actually did)

I'll do second. Happy New Year Danny...ok mine are->

1.) take great care with all my livestock...not just good. (this breaks down to alot)
2.) save money and try try try to make it to the next swap (too).
3.) get myself in shape. (breaks down alot too)
4.) restrain in doing impulse buys.
5.) get over some "things".

Hope I go through with this. Last years resolution went 3/4 done.

1) Not get fustrated over my reef tank
2) Save money to go to the next swap
3) Eventually appreciate and am satisfy with my current situation

No Resolutions I'm Perfect!

I'm dedicating 2009 as the "The year of finishing unfinished projects." I've got projects that I started 4 years ago that still have to be finished.

 

[Tangs Rule]

1. Lose 25 lbs (back to 200 lbs)
2. Buy or have somebody build me a denitrator (bonus time at work soon.)
3. Not work so many hours (average of 70 - 80 a week is too many.)

I have to sell or finish a few projects so I can just sit and enjoy my tank!

1. keep up weekly water changes
2. remove clown and add livestock
3. learn how to do everything myself
4. don't ever let my tank suffer just because i'm not feeling great

truth is that all of those resolutions could easily translate into my life as well - weekly stuff = gym, livestock = getting rid of yucky stuff in my life and adding good stuff....
