I'm gonna get one and put it in my 36G, thanks for the advice!

Yea, get a 1.5" one they are much more cute when they are young. Maybe your gf will upgrade and want one too after she see yours..haha...

I want one! I want one! Not sure about having one in a 72g with a Yellow Tang, though.

it should be fine. Unless you have a huge, mean yellow tang. But I think yellow tang is quite passive and good companion.

I have him with a purple tang and you know purple tang usually are alot more meaner than anything. But so far they have learn to coexist, hehe.. The purple still chases her around, though..

Well I don't know which yellow tang you are talking about but mine used to be very aggressive with any new addition. However he gets along really well with my hippo. . . sometimes there is a flaring of the tails but that should be gone when I put them in the 90.

ctx- what kind of settings do you use on your camera?

granted, my digital ZLR is reeeaal old and can only adjust to ISO 400 (making fast shots impossible to get :( ), but do you play with the white balance, adjust stops, etc?

Great pic btw!

Usally other fish leave Hippo tang alone specially most tangs as they're shaped differently so I wouldn't worry. Hippo also get very large too. I have a very large Sail Fin tang and my Sohal is actually the one that attacks him to the point where the Sail Fin has to hide.

I used ISO 400 for that shot. Then I just start shooting with the continuous shot mode. It take 4 shots at a times and reload and shoot 4 again. I shoot in raw format so I have much more flexibility there with white balance/exposure after the shot.

F-stop at arouund 4.5 and shutter at around 100.

Dave had a few little Blue Tangs in his big tank; are they all gone?

I see them at various stores all the time, but am always worried about their health. I'm not actually very good at picking out fish! :irked:
