I need to make some adjustments on my existing sump, if I take it out of service to drill it how much time can I run my tank without a sump? I have powerheads running in the tank to keep a strong waterflow, but is their anything I would need to do?

you can get a hangon skimmer for awhile and weeklly water change.thats for a long time.other than that if you put ur heater in there with the flow will be good for good couple of hours
