where to find lights

im just curious if they make some conopy light 2x150 with t-5 lights 4 would be great 2 would suffice.39w or better with the t-5.this would be for a 50 gallon breeder.im not looking to upgrade right now but it might be a future upgrade depending on what i do with my future corals.

I hear their fixtures are pretty good quality but you will want to replace the stock bulbs since they aren't that great.

oh man...duke i had the current outer orbit running on the 50b at the time...but you had your own lights already...

check:
current outer orbit (2x150w mh and 4 t5's)
theres also geisemann..
sunlight supply...most major brand companies got a fixture like that...
but if you can build your own canopy then the possibilities are endless..
you can choose what pendants you want(which have great reflectors) and you can go with t5's or vho's...your lighting will be bling

dude i know i didnt have the funds for all that.like i said im not looking for it right now..anyone who would help me build something give me a pm i think i could possibly make something happen with what i have.i have the t-5 fixture and a mh maybe i can take those apart and create my own canopy.

duke you would really be surprised at the difference with that being od, it will almost make it twice as bright

i hear ya.i thought maybe might as well try this maybe it will work .though if i knew how to make a canopy out of the lights i already have.just a thought so i wouldnt have to spend more.

It wouldn't be too hard to make a canopy with what you already have and it should give you a good amount of light over the tank.

Only thing you'd need to buy was the wood and maybe a new reflector for the halide. Price it out and see what comes out cheaper.

It might work out about the same to just get the 660.
