RTBA stung me :\

I was messing around with some stuff and happened to barely brush by my huge RBTA. I got stun on both arms and i have little welts where he stun me. This was all about 20 minutes ago.

Should I be concerned? They still really sting. I dont have any open cuts or anything.

Happened to me too. You should be fine, but if it gets worse you should see a doctor.

You should be fine. I believe it's a protein toxin so denaturing the protein should help (your body's immune system will take care of it eventually, but if you can push it along it will make the pain go away faster). Like said if it gets worse do something immediately (that would be an allergic reaction). You could try denaturing the protein by putting water as hot as you can stand on your arms. Vinegar changes the local pH and can also denature the protein, so these are both things you could try. Hope you feel better.

peeing does work when the bite happens! neosporin wont do anything. if you do experience an allergic reaction take some benadryl (Diphenhydramine)

Everywhere I've read, peeing on a sting is just a myth and is actually not good...unless you like smelling like piss

i have my non latex disposable surgical gloves on, but obviously they dont cover more than my hand. I will keep that in might next time i do anything near it.
