So, I'm just trying to figure out what fish to add to my (72g) tank. Currently I have a Coral Beauty, Yellow Tang, Marine Betta, and a Purple Firefish. I'll be adding either 1 Maroon Clown or 2 Perc/Oscellaris. I think I'd like 1 or 2 more, but not sure which way to go. I'll probably get either a Blenny or a Goby (a Yellow Watchman I added along with the Tang, but haven't seen him since day 2!) Not sure what else to get that won't get picked on by the others, is colorful, and active!! Any suggestions? I was looking at some Wrasses, but many of them seem to be either not reef safe or have to be weaned to frozen foods. Butterflies aren't the easiest to take care of. I was sort of thinking of a Foxface, but it's yellow like the Tang and I'm trying to avoid that. Anthias tend to need schools, right? And need to be fed several times a day. What else am I missing?? :)

Oohh, a mated pair? Are they for sale? How much does he want for them? I don't know Reef Fantasy... I'll try to visit. Who's Chris? :smoker:

Some Fairy Wrasses look great, but I'm nervous about getting a fish that has to be taught to take frozen foods. I'm still struggling with the Marine Betta! I also need some sort of cover for my tank as Wrasses are jumpers. I'm not entirely happy with an egg-crate cover because it cuts off the light as it travels from the center of the bulb. The crate's thickness is a liability in that regard. I've been trying to come up with alternatives... I even bought a sheet of plexi-glass thinking perhaps I could drill a lot of holes in it - but don't have a drill!! I also saw at a hardware store a net with large (half inch) holes made out of wire, but it was metal and the guy didn't know if it came in plastic. :banghead:

EDIT: Just found Reef Fantasy on-line, but it's in SI! So far... And it doesn't say if it's accessible by subway. I don't have wheels.

I'm going to reef exotics with chris tomorrow. The only way I know to get to reef fantasy via public transportation from Queens is get to the ferry and there is a bus that runs down victory blvd.

I know he has at least one pair not sure on the price
give him a call

Hey, tomorrow's my day off!!! :flirt: Can I come with you??

nyfireman: The tank is a 72bow. It's 48 long, 18 wide in the middle. I'll check tonight (or tomorrow morning, which is when I'm getting home from work) what the measurements are on the sides. I already have an acrylic sheet at home, so we could use that. Or another one is fine, just let me know how much! I can PayPal you. :thanks: It'd be best if it was in two sections so I can remove one when necessary. :p

The thing is I used to go school at Hofstra in Hempsted, so I know that area pretty well, but it all needs a car. Oh, well. Next time maybe. Thanks for the offer!

gold maroon clowns are the meanest fish I ever had in my tank, they will chase and bite tangs 10 times its own size. Mine used to bite my arm when I work in the tank, she also liked to rearrange my frags for me.
