My current light source for my biocube is the basic power compact fixture that comes with it. I have been using the same bulbs for about 6 months now and I have noticed that they have dimmed (I can look directly at the bulb without squinting.) I thought that you only had to change them on a yearly basis, but I don't know. Should I change the bulbs now rather than waiting?
Also, I am considering getting the halide biocube upgrade. If I get it, will I see a significant difference in my corals?
And Lastly, do moonlights matter to health the corals and fish, or is it just for our pleasure? I forgot that my tank had moonlights, and started using them again. Do I leave the moonlights on all night as well?
Sorry for all the questons, I am just trying to learn more:birthday:

I think I am going to go ahead and replace them sometime this month, and they arent too pricey. The dimming is starting to get on my nerves.
