Salifert Nitrate

I just bought a salifert nitrate test kit. I opened it up and the directions say to use the syringe to add 1 mL tank water to the test vile. So I did and it barely covers the bottom of the vile... ??? Is that a misprint?

No that's right, just use 1mL of water. Dont' worry, you're not alone. I thought the same thing! :lol:

Same here. But the test seems to work really well.

Thanks guys. It worked well. And seemed to be right on with the AP test kit, albeit eaiser to read the colors.

Funny part is my tank has had 20ppm nitrates since I started with no ill effects to any fish, inverts, softies or LPS.
