neon green color algae

I have this green algae that is hard to come off. I try to srape it off but that doesent work...it's all over the back of my tank,do anyone know how to get rid of it? it is like a neon green color..... thanks

what kind of water do you use.. also does the tank get direct sunlight at any time in the day?

Does look like sunlight caused Algae.

looks like the type of algae i got when i had my first tank.no sump i ran a filter and didnt use r/o water..that was a long time ago :lol2:

i unfortunately don't have a R/O filter...something that is on my must get list.

looks like mine did when sunlight hit it.. stopped the sunlight and that algae is going away
