Chaeto VS Mangroves...?

What is better to keep in the fuge?Do they both do the same thing?Is one better than the other ....? Is it better to have both ?Just curious...:splitspin

Chaeto is far and away a better choice for refugiuns or any kind of nutrient control. Mangroves are cool, but they do very little unless they are large.

Chaeto hands down for nutrient export over mangroves....

Mangroves are a good compliment to Cheato because if it does leech nutrients when it gets too big,they'll suck up those nutrients.

acutally, the chaeto doesn't leach nutrients unless its dying. If your removing the chaeto as it grows and separating it regularly you will never see this problem.

Mangroves, if you can get them to live will just compliment your fuge. They don't do alot but any bit helps.

I have both, but it doesnt seem like the Chaeto is growing at all and really never has even before the addition of the Mangroves...:scratchch hmmmm...
