Need some plumbing help.

I am in the process of reconfiguring my plumbing and I need some advice. I have a Ehiem 1262 (900 GPH) with a 1" input and 3/4" output as my return.

I was reading a post on RC and someone said I can get move volume to my display with a 1" return. Not being a master in water movment I figured it would decreae the gph output with the bigger pipe.

This pump is also feeding my Chiller, Cal Reactor and GFO/Carbon reactor. Now some of you might say the pump cant handle it but its working on my tank now with out any issues.

My question is should i go with the 1" or the 3/4 " pvc. i do plan on upgrading my pump in the future with more gph but that is aleast 3 months out.

Actually making it into a 1 inch pipe would make the gph remain constant, but the flow speed would be lowered. Also assuming it's a pressure rated pump.
