Red Sea Berlin Skimmer Modification

Has anyone ever modified a berlin skimmer?
Looking for ideas....thanks

Not too much to modify... Kind of an out of date skimmer.... Upgrade the pump and throw a mesh wheel on it perhaps? But you will have to find the right pump/mesh combination.

IMO, clean it, sell it on ebay, and pick up a Recirculating skimmer that will fit in your system.

I have a magdrive 1800 gph...was gonna hook it up to my uv and the skimmer would this work?where could i get a mesh wheel for a mag pump?I will take a picture of it soon and try and post it.
