Chemi pure

Hello all,

Can I run chemi pure in a phosban reactor? Or should I go with regular carbon. I have one running phosban and picked up a second for carbon or chemi pure.

i took the chemipure out of the bag to put in the reactor and kept it on a low flow, just a little tumble. with the media bag in the reactor, it wont work as well. water will find the easiest way through.

Why can't it be run without the media bag? Carbon and phosban can. Anyone try it?

It's not that it can't be run that way, it's just MUCH less effective that way. Water is ALWAYS going to search for the path of least resistance. When you leave the media in the bag it causes a blockage and the water will seek to run around the outside of the bag, not through it where the carbon or phosban is.
Running the media in a reactor will be much more effective. It's like night and day.
