I bought a bunch of live rock last night. A few pieces are covered with aptasia.

Is there an easy way to kill it off with out killing the live rock? Maybe a calc dip or hyper PH dip?

I could alwasy "cook" it, but that takes too long...

Pretty sweet. Looks like it works well. Also, Ilove the guys accent and how he says "patent".

I'm looking for an easier route. I haven't done any aquascaping, so I still have the option of pulling all the rock out for a dip.

Hi Keith
In that case you can burn/melt them down with a hot iron (an old table knife blade will do). Basically put some of your tank water into a bucket pick a rock with aiptasia from the tank and put it inside the bucket. Put the iron on top of a flame till it gets real hot, and then pull the rock out of the bucket and burn/melt down one or two aiptasia at the time and place the rock back into the bucket. Repeat the operation until you burned/melted down every aiptasia. Next wash the rock with the water in the bucket and return it afterwards to the tank.

Cheers
Pedro Nuno;-)

Man I hit mine with Aptasia X with a lot more than that utube, they always seem to come back in few days, While it is fun to use, I do not believe that it works.
