Is this normal

My water is very clear but I always see little things floating in the water, I have a over flow box that skims the surface, I had 4 power heads a sump, should the waster be cristal clear or is it normal to have thing floating around in the tank. I have a skimmer as well as a refugum where the water enters I have a filter pad. Its clear but not sure if it can get better..

fish poop stuff catches on rock you will never get a tank totally clear that you have fish and corals in that you feed.If your not ruuning with a filter sock that might help i also run filter fiber once in awhile for a couple days in the sump.RJ

You need to increase the turnover rate of your return pump and make sure your powerhead is not blowing the surface water away from your overflow. Also check if your overflow is overgrown with algae if so clean it. The stuff should get collected by your overflow.

I think I found the problem my skimmer was not working @100 % it was cloged no its back to skimming like a animal and I changed all my filter pads, I also ran My DE hang on filter for 1 1/2 I see I a day or so If It helped!!
