QT it out of your tank and treat w/ copper. If u dont have a QT tank, try using a product called Melafix

Michael told me if the eye is not white or hazy and just razed the fished could have bumped his eye on a rock and wait and see what happens in a day or so. He is eating fine and swimming and so are all the rest of the fish. I was thinking of doing another water change to try and clean up the water a little bit.

I would monitor it very closely and use melafix if necessary, also, turn off your skimmer during this time and keep lights to a minimum.

melafix safe in the tank. I have monitered him and he is doing better in the qt but I think now my hippo tanj might have a couple of white spots on his belly, I can't tell if they are from the sad when he was feeding or small spots. I keep doing 5 gallon water changes everyday because I want to try and change about 70 gallons. I did a 25 gallon change over the weekend and now I have changed about 35 gallon. The water is clearer then it was and i figured better water quality can't hurt. Any other ideas.
