hey guys,

can live rocks survive under a reg flourecent light? what does it mean when it's whitest in color?

some guy is selling over 100lbs of rocks, but he had it under regular flourecent light for over 6 months. is that all right? reply asap please

i think the rock would be fine, but with it being white, that would mean that the coraline has died? this wouldn't happen to be the rc guy that is selling it for like $109 would it? that would be the base rock, which is not as nice

it should be fine ,,if there is white parts and nice part ,it mean the white part was the bottom of the rock where it got no light ,no it has no color ,,as long as all the rock is not white your cool ,,,and nt dry as well ,

the rocks are still in hte tank and running with fish in it. here is a pic:

Dont worry the rock should still be "live" and the purple/blue coraline will grow back in no time

That looks like a fish only tank with very little light. You should be fine with good water condition and strong light, purple coraline will grow back in a few months. Make sure you scrub the green and brown stuff off before you put it in your tank and seed the tank with a few good pieces of LR.

Dead goniopora looks like honeycomb.
