Hey all I been wrapped up with school, I off for spring Break YAY!!! I get to relax and have a social live again for a short time, a very short time.

Good news is I have some time to work on my fish tank.

MOST OF YOU GUYS KNOW I HAD THE CRISIS WHERE I LOST MOST OF MY STOCK AND CORALS POSSIBLY BECAUSE OF PARAMETERS BUT NOT 100 PERCENT SURE WHY. thanks to you guys im still here.

I have posted up some pictures, of my tank, I added more rock alot more rock it might be too much rock what do you guys think is it too much? In terms of the landscaping I am really bad at this, I just put rock on top of each other and tried to make it look good.

I also added a picture of my sump, its simple and very compact but it does the job I guess, I am running a turbofloter as you can see its doing a goo job but very little skim on a weekly basis i wont have half of that cup full. I feel like my tank has more crap thn that, since i cant adjust this skimmer not much I can do. i also added a submer Uv-JBJ model.

Also posted a picture of my hood, I as of know I do not use the hood due to the fact that its very small and gives my current light no space what so ever, i was thinking one of those retro lights, what so you guys recommend, I posting a few pics of my hood so you can see all angles its about 36 inchs but was it goes towards the front its smaller. I running a 150 watt do you think i need a stronger light.

I also noticed this algea on my sand what produces and can anyone tell me what this is. this I posted a picture.

Enjoy of the Pictures, what I have in the pictures is what survived from the crash I had, I ended up doing basically a 100 percent water change and its a miracle everything lived. my parameters are good except my nitrates which are still at a shocking 80+ I did two readings one came out 80 and the other was closer to 160 ppm, everything else is fine, how can i lower nitrate, i did some research most say a water change... Im shocked my tang is still ok with these high nitrates.

I hope this is not annoying how I made 4 topics in one thread, any input or advice will be taken.... I an leeching infomation from you guys everyday.:splitspin

PS; I also threw pics of my birds there starting to mate i figurged nothing in my fish tank gonna mate anytime soon might as well look up to my birds reproducing, and my african Grey,
