tunze question

just ordered a tunze nanostream 6045 i think is it any good i got it on sale from marine depot for 90 buck i was going to order a seico 15oo but my friend coned me into te tunze will there be a big diff

Definitely a difference since they are 2 different pumps.
Besides the "Seio" being bigger size wise, it's a bit stronger but is also an eyesore.
(it has more flow when mounted as a standard pump, not with the attachment)


What size tank you plan to use it on?

Not sure how the updated ones perform.

You're gonna need a different pump dude.........

You can cut the inside of the shroud back to gain additional gph out of the tunzes. You will need a few of them in a 120w.

well i also have a seio 1500 in there and 2 802 powerheads that should be alotta current no i have mostly softys and like torches octo hammer no acro at all how much current as to much
