Keep in mind, with the Icecap ballast, it will run brighter, but also hotter.
During the 90+ days in the summer, you still will need either a chiller or A/C in the room otherwise you will have to have the lights off now more often. My tank is in the basement and I still need to sometimes have the lights partially off to prevent it from getting too hot on those 90+ days. I use an aquacontroller to have 2/3 of the lights turn off at 82F and all off at 82.5F.
Keep in mind this is all without an A/C.

One annoying thing I don't like about T5's is if a bulb burns out on the IceCap 660 ballast, its a guessing game which out of the 4 bulbs it is. It doesn't happen often though, I'm running 2 tanks with T5's and out of the 10 bulbs running, in the past 5 years I've had I think 3 bulbs burn out.

I will keep that in mind. The tank will be in the basement and I have AC, which usually keeps the basement at around a steady 70 degrees.
