Not sure about my Tunze 9002

Installed my new Tunze 9002 on my 28 gal reef 6 days ago. Day 1 I had bubbles rising up the reaction tube as expected. By the next day the bubles had droped down the chamber quite a bit. By day 4 there were new bubbles at all. Taking out the cup I can see a bit of turbulance and a bit of fine spray but no bubles at all.

Any ideas?

Do you have the air adjustment valve completely open?

Sorry, I should have included that in my original post. I have the air valve all the way open. Though in or out I dont see any difference.

Open the top, make sure that the tubing is not clapsed, I had too cut mine too make it fit good and not clapse on me since it was too long for no reason.. I bet this is your problem..

You nailed it, opened it up and cut about and inch off the airline and now its skimming like a champ

where did u get the skimmer from? ive been trying to buy one and no one has um

Got the skimmer from Marine Depot, checked and they still have it listed.

I put mine in a HOB Aquafuge 2 (medium) and with the minor tweak mentioned above it is skimming like a champ.

So far I like it much better then my old Remora pro which was huge, loud, and didn't skimm any better.
