low ph

i just hookup a Kalk Reactor and notice that my PH is getting low like 7 .....

can Kalkwasser cause this?

kalk usually raise your ph not lower it. what kind a test that u use?

thats the first time i hear. i also use kalk reactor , and my ph 8.2 night, and 8.5 during my light on. how do u set up your kalk? did u run it your kalk with regular pump??

when the last time did u calibrated your aquacontrooler?

If your Ph was 7 then most, if not all, your corals would be dead and your fish would be in pretty bad shape also. I would recalibrate your aquacontroller and if it keeps coming up that low use another test kit to make sure that it's correct.

i just test it and i got bet 7.7 and 8

that makes more sense. i have my kalk set-up the same way you do. just make sure the pH doesnt get too high (if you have a lot of eavporation).
