why did you change you maxi jet ,,you should of mod the pump ,Kris had a good link for that ,,give you 3 time the flow that it come with ,,i see ifi can find the link for you

I believe the mod spreads the flow around, not increase it. Especially 3 times.

Dammit Just get the Tunze streams. Get the Multicontroller and 4 6200s. That should give your tank some good excercize.

Ink The seios have the adjustable flowrate no? did you adust to max? Also remember that the nozzle on the seio is constructed slightly differently so that it may look and feel different whereas the small mj nozzle shoots a concentrated current. A steady broad current is better.

Flow did get stronger IMO. It did spread it around too. I figure the flow got stronger because it wasnt being held back at all.
When I had the MJ(un-modded) i had it facing so the flow hit the glass, on that side of the tank the flow barely reached the bottom of the tank(checked how much the star polyps were waving). The when I modded it and faced it towards the glass it started kicking up sand and the star polyps were all over the place. Thats what I based my "Increasing the Flow" theory on. :D

It just looks softer than the mj's. Think of it as a gardenhose. The smaller the nozzle....... But believe the fact that you are moving more water in your tank.
