buying corals....

is buying corals from a wholesaler who is out of the country illegal????

if so everyones corals are illegal... because last i checked all of our local fish stores buy from out of the country....

my LFS gets his stuff from bali, australia etc...

do they have shipping available to USA?
Local stores mostly buy directly from wholesalers who have incenses to import from oversees

Unless you have appropriate permits to import corals and other livestock from overseas it is illegal. Presumably your local suppliers do... and FYI most of the local shops buy from US wholesalers not direct from international distributors.
