What eats chaeto?

I am starting to get some chaeto in my main tank and it is growing quicker than I can pull it out, so is there a fish or snail or something that eats chaeto so I can keep it down to a minimum in my tank?

theres got to be something that eats chaeto otherwise there'd be some big problems in the ocean.

I have no idea what is making it grow so well. Trade you your tang for my chaeto

your cheato might be growing b/c your parameters might be high(ie nitrate/phosphate,etc)...you shouldnt grow cheato in your main display for that reason...grow it in ur sump

I didn't try to grow it in my display. I had it in my sump and it somehow made its way up to my display and started to grow before I could pull it out.

wouldn't your main display and sump have the same levels?

cheato doesn't attach to anything, it should be easy to just pull it all out

actually mine has somehow attached to some of my rocks and when I pull it out it breaks into little pieces and then goes somewhere else in my tank where it grows some more.
