Right now I have 6 large tanks going. Its getting increasingly difficult to manage turning on and off the lights as each particular tank's requirements are different. It's not that I'm too lazy to make the extra trips to the basement, (well maybe a little) but I do need to shut the tanks off at different times.

I was thinking that if I connected X10 modules to each of the lights, I could program them all to turn on and off at the right times. Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

i have the X10 system with active pro software and its dosent work well most of the time it dosent turn on or off , i bought the smarthome power line controller to replace the x10 controller ,it sopose to work better then x10 controller,

I have all my lighting and reactors and water replenishment on X10.

It is all controlled from an aquacontroller 3 with no issues
