Do you clean the back wall of your aquarium for a clean look? or do you just let it get grown over by whatever?
For those who do clean it, considering that it is most likely difficult to get to (against a wall, or blocked by rock/coral/etc) how do you do it?

I cleaned the back wall once, when I put my vortechs on. That way when I take off the wet side to clean it there will be a clean spot to put it back in the same spot :birthday:. Otherwise I do not clean the back wall I like the pink and purple :splitspin

I like the both No answers. No I don't clean it because it's too darn hard and I have grown to like the natural look ;)

I clean the back of tank. My 4' tank takes about 10 minutes every other month to clean with a razor scraper. Be careful not to gouge silicone.
I dont worry about behind the rocks. Because rocks are not invisible. LOL

I have OCD as well with the look of my tank I make sure there is free space to apply a magnet back there to keep it clean. There are times I clean the overflow as well even though you don't see that area

I decided when I started this tank that whatever wanted to grow on the back wall that wasn't terribly nasty-lookin' or actually harmful could, and I wouldn't bother with it. Right now there's just a fine furze of turf algae that's been cropped down to the glass and growing spots of coralline, but I'm thinking about getting some kinda encrusting coral to grow over it.
