that's a lot of light for a 10 gal. i think there will be a lot of heat from the halide. try raising the height w/ a hanging kit, use lighting grid (not sure how long it would withstand the heat before melting under the halide) and fans or a/c to help cool it down.

or post for a trade for a t5's fixture. much less heat.

24" double(48 watts) on a 10 gal. frag tank (it's a little long but i just rest the fixture on top and it's fine) and that's plenty of light for my favia's, acans, and chalices.
never kept acro frags in there though.
