Need Help With Lighting A 220gal

Well Starting To Set Up My 220 Gal Soon But Don't Know What Lighting I Need. I Want Mh With T5 And Led.

Well My Problem Is That My Canopy Is Only 7'' High From The Tanks Top So Lighting Sounds Hard.

The Tank Messures 72'' Long.and The Canopy Inside Canopy Messures 73''

I Was Thinking About Putting My Hamilton 36'' Fixture In It But It Messures 6'' High So To Close To Water.

Up For Suggesting, Thanks

aquatinics T5 fixture seems very thin, you can check with them. They are also considering to incorporate LEDs in their future models.

you can cut the mid part of the canopy and sit the fixture on top.

Yeah I'd say go with T5's unless you are going to mod that hood.

For less than a thousand you couldn't build a proper LED array for that big of a system. However, if you are willing to spend more you could build a pretty sweet custom array to fit in your hood.

the aquactinics constellation looks pretty good, only thing i wish it had moon lights.
