Has anyone heard of or have been making their own frozen food for their tank? It was mentioned to me at a store I frequently go to because they are always sold out of the Piscene Mysis shrimp I buy (I get it because their is 70% protein, where the other brands of mysis have 3%). The manager of their Marine department told me it is a good idea to go to my local fish market and buy shrimp, oyster, clam, mussel, squid, scallop, and if they sell sprilina, sprilina. He told me to clean all of it, put a few drops garlic extreme (garlic extract), selcon, and vita-chem and throw all of it in a blender. He told me to blend it so I get some bit-size pieces of food or a size that my fish can eat and he said freeze it in an old mysis cube pack. He said you will save about 250 bucks on food a year and the protein contain and fats and amino acids %ages are higher.
