Just wondering. I have a green bubble tip that split. its not looking as bulby as it used to. i noticed when i fed it a cube of shrimp, one of them look better. my clown wont let me next to the other one to do a direct feed. i gotta trap him off and then do it.

Feeder goldfish are generally not a good thing to feed any type of aquatic animal. Feeding the anemone silverside, krill, mysis even would be a better option. Anemones splitting or not bubbling isn't neccessarily a food issue, it can also be a water quality issue as well. Check your parameters and make sure all is good. You also don't want to spot feed anything too large-- often times they will not eat it all and will spew it back out after the fact (ewww:eek:).

my gbta eats a mixture of formula one and two pellets!!!!! i simply aim and drop the pellets above the anemone. the maroon would also grab them and feed it.
i used to feed it frozen silverside but sometimes it would spit it out later....making a mess of things and worsen water parameters. doesn't spit out the pellets:biggrin: .....plus much more convenient!!!

One of the vendors here

Had a employee who no longer works there right infront of me, try to feed a very expensive anemone a goldfish.

I told him if you feed that to that anemone im not going to buy it, to which he responded dont you wanna see if it eats.

I said yes but not some nasty disease ridden goldfish.

Feeding any type of freshwater fish or invert to saltwater fish or inverts runs a large risk of causing more damage then good.
