Installed RO/DI.. I have one question.

I installed my Typhoon III (5 Stage) tonight. I need to get the carbon cylinders yet, but I have one question.

The unit has an "RO Output ONLY" and it has a "Pure Water Output".

Using my trustly little TDS (hand held) meter I see that the "Pure" out is just that according to the meter... tap is 119, "pure out" is 000, The "RO Only Out" is 019.

Should I be using the Pure ot the RO output for my tank?

If anyone has been holding off on one of these because they look difficult, do sweat it! one of the easiest things I've done for the tank so far.

The manual with this thing could definately use some work, it isn't very descriptive.

0 TDS should be RO/DI (pure output) 19TDS is too high for a reef tank, but better then 119

Nice work on the setup. You always want a 0 TDS reading for adding water to your aquarium so in your case what's labeled pure water output is what you want.

ps, one 5gal bucket of "Pure" water = one full washing machine of "waste water".

LOLO Thats exactly what i did . I washed some clothes with it..

going on 4 loads now... having a 3 month old really puts the washing machine to use...
