Hello All,

Bought this Tunze 6025 off a member. I just started to use it (was on sale, but then found use for it... after setting up another tank lol).

It seems to be making noise. I was under the impression this thing was as quiet as the Koralia's. Don't get me wrong this thing moves A LOT of water, but I don't know why it is making so much noise. I have it on the Bracket and Tunze Magnet.

I have no idea what these technical terms are LOL. I didn't receive the rubber things on the magnets from the member. I'll ask if he has them.

How do I know if the C Clip is mounted properly? It's firm and stuff.

If in fact you don't have the rubber pieces then it is probably vibration from not having the little rubber nubs between the magnets and glass. I would stop use until you get the rubber pieces as that constant high rate of plastic vibrating against glass can't be to good for the tank.
If the clip is firm and stiff then it is most likely in place well.

The "C" clip has little notches just make sure that they are firmly inserted into the magnet. These clips are the weakest part of the entire pump so take extra care not to snap them.

Well I basically took it apart again and I made sure the C Clip was firm. It got quieter and it doesn't sound like plastic breaking. Now it is just a humming noise. I think I am going to pick up the things NYreefNoob suggested.

Before it was definitely the pump making noise.

Well I know exactly what you are referring to 2slo. I actually fixed that problem already. I put it back in and now it is a slight humming noise.

It is really driving me insane. I cleaned it, I put it on the C Clip properly.

Anybody wanna trade for a Koralia 3? If you can bother going to home depot and buying rubber (I can't be bothered with it), I'll trade straight up for a Koralia 3. :splitspin
