Overflow drain problem

Hello,
It seems that the overflow on my 125 gallon reef ready All-Glass tank now continually drains into my sump when I turn the return pump off for maintenance. It used to (and is supposed to) just drain the water to the top teeth of the overflow. I checked the overflow seams for any leaks but could not see any. I must admit that I need to do a more thorough check to be certain.

If the seams on my overflow boxes are still in tact, what then could be causing my overflows to continually drain? Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

I would check the seems more carefully. Although to be certain i guess you would have to drain the tank. Slowly fill it and see where it starts leaking.
