Started dosing my tank Kent Nano A&B the other week- alk was fine but Ca was low (in lower 300 range), so I simply added the 1st part until Ca levels were on target. Since I've added it I have had huge growth in my corals. I figured that the blasto, frogspawn, and brain would grow- but my softies have really taken off! My shrooms are double their previous size- zoos are really starting to grow- xenia is nice and full now. Do softies really see that much extra growth with proper Ca levels?

Likely they are more happy with the ALk levels than Ca levels - they will need the Ca to grow, though.

i'll keep testing- might as well keep the parameters stable. anyone know of a quick ca and alk test kit (digital hopefully and not overly expensive?)- i can't stand these salifert tests and how long they take.

i have Pinpoints PH monitor and it works well.
