Lighting question

I'm going to set up a frag tank. The size is 30 x 22 x 12. I was
wondering what type of lighting my fellow reefers suggest? I'm
looking to have zoos, LPS and SPS for fast growth. I was thinking
150w metal halide with 2 39w Actinics. What do you think. Let me know.

250W MH with 10k bulb ... if you are looking growth over color. Just MO.

that is what i am using with 4 39wt5

12" deep? i would not use a metal halide.
the 4 t-5's would be fine over that depth. i have a 36" tank that is 12" deep and it has two 54 watt t5's over it. the bulbs are 4' long, so they hang over the sides, and i have one 12k daylight in it and one actinic, and i can keep sps in it that remains completely colored up.

i think we put too much emphasis on lighting and not enough on flow.
