DIY Standpipes - what one is best?

I realized that I am an idiot, I was looking at it all wrong. The T and 90 connector part just slips on to the top, so I can screw in the pipe and then just cap it off while it is already attached to the bulkhead. No need to make it flex. I was thinking it had to be assembled before I attached it (then it wouldnt have room to turn).
