Any feedback on: Metal Halide Aquarium Chiller Cooling Fans?

I have one, and it works well on my BC29. Heavy evaporation on days it's on though...luckily it hasn't turned on much because I have the AC running. What size tank do you have?

i used azoo quad cooling fans. its looks exactly the same as the ones you showing from ebay. i bought mines from aquacave.com

the fans work really well. The only problem is that it does not fit on the brace of a standard AGA(aqueon) tank. i had to cut a portion of the tank brace so it could fit on the edge. it fits better on rimless tanks

Thanks guys.. I have a 75 gallon tank Widdy.. maybe I need the 6 fan unit.. lol..

How much does this lower your tank temperature, if any? I know its meant to cool the MH lights, but I'm assuming it has a domino effect in terms of keeping your tank a bit cooler as well right? Or am I completely off?

I've also seen a seller on ebay that does custom fans so you can screw each fan where ever you want as opposed to having them all stuck together.. that seller also claims the fans have multiple speeds... would anyone possily have any interest in a group buy?

Hey OGGISPORTS.. I haven't yet installed the light because the MH will likely bring my temp up way too high.. So I'm still running my T5's till the fall hits.. =) Unless I can get a cheap chiller.. :bigeyes2:

Hmm.. I'm not sure if we can arrange a group buy for it or something, or if it even worth it, but if you are interest I can make a new post and see how many people are really interested..? They look very helpful in terms of cooling down your lights.. Do you have any links where you were looking at the azoo ones?

Also what about these? these look pretty cool in the sense that it appears you can place the fans in different locations hence spreading out the cooling area..
