it would depend on the lamps you decide to put in it, and the tank it's on. the stock lamps are not very good. you'll want to change them. how deep is the tank you are thinking of using this fixture for?
what corals are you wanting to keep in this tank?

The tank is a standard 75 gallon tank. I guess 21 inches high.
I have in my tank lps and clams and soon to be sps.
I have MH on there but the fixture has to to be replaced because of household issues.

I would consider putting in Korallen Zucht 2nd Gen Coral Light for your 3 Daylight bulbs (amazing lamps!) and get 1 Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple bulb (its a lower nm than actinic and that stimulates coral growth) and then keep 2 of the Current 460nm bulbs.

its a great lite but you have to use the right lamps what comes with it is ok at best but your going to have to change them and like me i have the 72" so thats 12 bulbs can get exspensive right after buying the light,but if you are going to change them soon after buying the light its a great lite

Anyway I like the light, I am going to probably order one and post some pics.

Were can u buy this bulb and could they be used on the regular nova xtreme fixture 48-- 8bulb
