Big Maxima Clams..

Does anyone have big 8+ inch maxima clams??? Ive never seen any post so I was wondering if I'm one of the few or what??

Thanks Mike.. It seems like you were the only one with a huge Maxima.. Now I am... Now I just have to get the colors up a little like I did with my other clams, whole new thread with no answers,,,lol..

I dnt have a giant maxima, but i am curious how you color them up?

Basically just consistant good water quality, stable cal,alk,mag, and stronium usually from a calcium reactor..

Before I relocated/ took a break. I owned a maxima which was about 7 inches long or more. He is now in Dace's hands (I Hope).

max r the smallest , but i think they can get anywhere under a feet. call me crazy, but i've notice teardrops tend to grow larger for some reason.

This is my first tank and i dont have much in it , Its a 20 gallon and i just have 2 fish and some zoas but i will be looking to by some small frags as my levels improve My nitrates are at 20

I just found out that my clam only has about 2 or 3 more inches to grow and will also be very easily stressed now that it is at sexual maturity...
