Just picked up an upgrade tank from a fellow member it's a 72ga bowfront. The only problem I've got with it is the trim color "it's brown/faux wood trim" Can I paint it black w/o any peeling or wrinkling effects from the saltwater? Or should I just live with it? Thanks....

It empty, just picked it up on Tues just cleaning it and preping for its set-up next week. I not sure/comfortable with removing the trim and reinstalling it without creating a leak. I guess I'll just live with it. Thanks

You could always put a canopy on top of it.
Thats a good idea :)

You can also buy strips of wood veneer - Home Depot has it..when it's in stock...I believe it also comes in rolls.
Usually it is used to finish the edge of shelves. Often it is suggested to iron it on, but I'd guess a hair dryer - or even your lights from your tank will (eventually) keep it stuck on there.
