Tunze 6100

Need help!!! I purchased a Tunze 6100 along with the single controller and the photocell. I have a 120 Reef tank (Oceanic - 48" wide x 24" deep - the height is 30" I think). Anyhow, I place the pump on the center/top of one of the sides moving the water to the opposite side. How much power should I have the controller set to? The first pulse is about 75% and the second pulse is set at 30%. Should I set the first pulse at 100%? Not sure which is the best way, as I don't want to stress the fish and coral. Thanks!

Full blast would be fine unless you have SPS or LPS few inches away from the Tunze.

Fish will get use to the blast, its not like they get advance warning when a large wave hits the reef crest in the wild.

you have the pump, why not use it 100%? otherwise you're not getting your money's worth.
