Duncan and clam question

Ok I just up graded to t5s and i would like to know something about duncans. Is it possible for them to reproduce in a tank setting meaning I think i have little duncan heads growing on my sand bed. I dont know if they release budds into the water or not or just grow heads. Also I was looking to buy a small clam to start off with and I would like information about them. What is the lighting they can be kept at and do they take meaty foods.

Duncans will be fine under your lighting, and the things poking out of the sand bed are feather dusters

Clams are always iffy squamosa clams seem to be the most hardy
