Does anybody know who makes 18w T-5's I have a 20" Current Nova extreme pro, and I am looking to change to better bulbs. But I can't find any.
I assume they are 18" in length but I am not home now to measure.
Thanks for any Input
I have the same thing. I believe they are 18" in length. I have had mine running for about 8 months now and was just thinking I am due for some new ones in the next couple of months.
current is the only one who makes them in that wattage for that unit, i had found some 3k and 6k bulbs but nothing else, ive also written a few companies begging them to make some also with no response

What a Shame. I figured I would just throw some Geissmans in it & be good 2 go. Very Dissapointing.
I wish I had known this before I bought this fixture.
I guess I will go back to a sunpod. It seems like the only other 20" fixture available. Or The Dreaded LED $$$$$$$
chem i did have a post on this and have spoken on the fact about the bulbs in about every post in reguards to this light fixture. guess my post dont count :tongue1: do as i did and start emailing other manufactures about bulbs, sure if they see a demand for them they might make them
Yup Current is the only one. They're basically the only ones who make a 20" T5 fixture. The demand is so low nobody else wants to bother with that market. I've inquired with my suppliers and nobody is even working on one for future release.
Yes, Rick and Russ are dead on. Unfortunately as of right now only Current makes the lamps for that fixture. I'm surprised that none of the major manufacturers of T5 lamps have got into the market on lamps of this length. I believe there's a good market for T5 lamps of this length especially with all the Cube AIO tanks. Like Rick stated until we the buyers put pressure on the companies to make these lamps available we'll just have to use Currents 10K and Actinics. Such a shame because the various other lamp choices would make for some really nice lamp combos for that 20" NEP 6-lamp fixture!!!
I have gotten used to the color. In the beginning it was very yellow to me too. And yes Current T5 18" 18w Replacement lamps are the only lights available for the fixture.
the yellow burns off after a few weeks, truelly the only thing i dont like is no led moon lights, but ive been to lazy to add the one's ive got for it as is
