I have a 75 gallon with 125 pounds live rock 8 pounds crushed coral. i have a wet dry being used as a sump. i have a internal overflow drilled in the tank. both of the bulk heads are to 3/4 the return pump is a rio 5oo that returns to the tank with 4 feet of 3/4 flex. the sumo line is a 1 inch durso pipe changed into 3/4 3 feet to flex to the sump is this too small should i change the bulk head and redo everything or should this be good. i am going to put two korilla 4 s in there as well... Advice please.

for starters you can shorten up the hose lines to make it neater, you also want to have much more water movement than whats in the last picture you have a film on the top of the tank and that is not good.

rio's are known to fail and cause heat issue's, i wouldnt wait to get the koralina's, you need alot more flow then you have, do you have a ato ? if not id suggest getting one, will make your life easier as well as keep tank salinity stable, hopefully the rock isnt stacked against the glass and the rock piles are stable, do you have a skimmer, id junk the wet dry or make into a regular sump as well

I did not see a skimmer. If you do not have one you will need to buy one sooner than later. Also, I would replace the crushed coral with sand. The crushed coral is a PITA to clean and will limit the types of animals you can keep in your tank.

As far as the sump goes, I would pull all the stuff you have in the intake chamber out and let the water drain into a filter sock. The space in that first chamber could then be used to house your protein skimmer. I wold also add as much water to the sump that it can hold taking the back syphon from the display tank into consideration. More water = more gooder :)

Is this a fish only or do you plan to add corals?

your return hose head looks little low(from the pics) shut off your return pump see if your wet dry can hold all the water from back siphon.
Also I would not loop the drain hose it can trap there.
